ALA's Structural design staff has the capability to provide complete bridge design services. Our Engineers utilize state-of-the-art design and analysis methods to provide our clients with structures that meet and exceed functional, aesthetic, durability, maintainability and economic requirements. Our structural staff has experience on design-bid-build contracts as well as design-build and PPTA contracts.

ALA's highway bridge projects have included new and replacement bridges, widenings and rehabilitation projects, and load rating and fatigue analysis. Our experience includes design of straight and horizontally curved steel girders, prestressed concrete girders, and reinforced concrete bridges. Our structural engineers have also designed large box culverts and drainage structures, noise barriers, and a variety of retaining wall types including sheet-pile, soldier-pile, concrete gravity, reinforced concrete cantilever, and mechanically stabilized earth walls.
